Man Robbed at Gunpoint in Luzerne County

WILKES-BARRE — A man was robbed at gunpoint in Luzerne County, according to Wilkes-Barre Police.

Officials said it happened at McCarthy Jim Tavern On the Hill early Saturday morning,when a 43-year-old man was leaving the tavern.

According to the police, the man entered his vehicle near by, where he was approached by two males, who put a gun to his head, and demanded money.

Police said the suspects fled on foot east on E. Northampton Street in Wilkes Barre.

    Based on the people who I work with, almost all are from Wilkes-barre, I consider this to be a case of karma hard at work. Personally I have no problem with the escalating crime in NEPA because I won’t live here for much longer. West coast here I come!!
