Five years ago Wednesday a passenger plane got into trouble in the air over New York City.
On that day Chesley "Sully" Sullenberger became a national hero.
Sully's A-319 airbus lost both its engines shorty after taking off from Laguardia airport.
Captain Sullenberger made the incredible decision to "splash land" his jet into a river, in an event later dubbed the miracle on the Hudson.
That evening Newswatch 16's Jennifer Borrasso went to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport to get reaction from folks about to take to the sky themselves.
