MAHONING TOWNSHIP -- Police are asking for the public's help to identify the person responsible for vandalizing a billboard.

Authorities tell us they received a report on January 8th that the Ebenezer Evangelical Congregations Church billboard on SR209 was again vandalized in Carbon County.

The billboard has been vandalized numerous times in the past several months.

This time, a bottle of Radiant Colors ink was found next to the billboard. Police say this ink is commonly used by the Tattoo industry.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Mahoning Township Police at 570-386-2241.

Disgusting, I guess they have no fear of God or anything else for that matter. I feel very sad for that persons soul that did this….

Souls and God are nothing more than constructs to help the human mind deal with understanding what they don’t understand. So no, not everyone fears those things. I especially don’t, and it’s sad that such fear has held back our civilization’s progress as much as it has.

I agree but I don’t see how that’s relevant to this story.

Are people generally so threatened by what they see on billboards that they deface them?
