UPDATE: 10:15 a.m. Interstate 80 eastbound reopened after 10 a.m.

Officials say part of Interstate 80 in Montour County was closed for a vehicle crash involving a tractor trailer.

I-80 eastbound, between Limestoneville (Exit 215) and Danville (Exit 224), was shutdown.

The wreck happened around 5:30 a.m. Friday.

PennDOT says eastbound traffic was detoured at Limestoneville (Exit 215) onto the blue detour route (Routes 254 and 54).

Emergency responders anticipate the eastbound lanes will remain closed for several hours.
