Power Out On Cold Morning

JACKSON TOWNSHIP — A power outage in Monroe County came at a time when temperatures were hovering around zero Tuesday morning.

At one point, more than 500 homes and businesses in the Reeders area were without power because some PPL lines came down.

It happened around 7:30 a.m. Tuesday. According to PPL, service was restored by about 12:30 p.m.
