Police: Man Confesses to Starting Restaurant Fire

MCADOO -- Police in Schuylkill County cuffed a man after they said confessed to torching a restaurant Thursday morning.

Huge flames were seen shooting from Gene's Gray Goose Food and Drinks in McAdoo.  The restaurant on North Kennedy Drive went up in flames just before 12:30 a.m.

An officer tells Newswatch 16 he questioned a man he saw dragging a trash bag full of alcohol who then confessed to setting the fire.

Authorities have not given the man's name or said what charges he faces.
