Two Armed Robbery Attempts In Hanover Township

HANOVER TOWNSHIP -- Two places in Luzerne County were hit by robbers Thursday afternoon.

Police say three people were inside Claire's Bar on Hazle Street in Hanover Township around noon, when a suspect walked in, showed a gun, took some cash, and fled.

Moments later, a man held up Forever Nails on West End Road in Hanover Township but did not get any money.

No one was hurt in either robbery in Luzerne County.

Investigators said they are not sure if the two robberies are related
