SCRANTON -- Organizers of a Christmas Day dinner in Scranton are trying to figure out who swiped coats from volunteers.

Workers were cleaning up Thursday after Bob Bolus hosted his annual dinner. He says as volunteers were wrapping up after feeding about 3,000 people, they noticed someone stole their coats.

Some volunteers say they saw someone near the coat rack with a garbage bag.

"It's just a disappointment that there's this caliber of person that would actually walk in here and steal somebody's coat that was volunteering their day, giving up their day, to help these people. And that's what puts a damper on it,” Bob Bolus said.

Bolus hasn't gone to police yet but he says he is checking surveillance video to look for the Christmas crook.
