WILKES-BARRE — A man was sentenced Monday for assaulting a 3-year-old girl in Luzerne County.
Michael Roman from New York City will spend between 15 months and five years in prison.
Police in Pittston arrested Roman in January. They believe he performed sex acts on the child inside an apartment in Pittston.
According to court papers, when a friend of the victim’s mother confronted Roman, he threatened to stab her.
