SCRANTON -- Authorities are investigating a deadly pedestrian accident in Scranton
Police say a jeep struck 76 year old Robert Kubacki on Wyoming Avenue around 7:30 p.m. Thursday night.
Witnesses say they saw Kubacki crossing the road, then put his arms up and gesture for traffic to stop.
The coroner says Kubacki died at the hospital and an autopsy is scheduled for Friday morning.
Police have not filed any charges at this time.
