WILKES-BARRE — Charges have been filed against a woman accused of tampering with an over-the-counter medicine at a drug store in Wilkes-Barre.

Authorities said in August, Yolanda Holman of Wilkes-Barre put prescription pills and other medication into a bottle of chewable children’s Advil, then returned it to Rite Aid on East Northampton Street.

A woman who purchased that bottle of medicine said a pharmacist said the pills inside were muscle relaxers and iron pills.

If convicted, Holman could face 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
