BEAR CREEK TOWNSHIP -- A man was sentenced Wednesday to 33 to 66 years in prison for assaulting a state trooper, burglary and robbery in Luzerne County.

William Gronosky's punishment came just days after he pleaded guilty to the charges that were filed last year after he and two other men allegedly forced their way into a home in Bear Creek Township, tied up an elderly couple, and robbed them

Some of the other charges against Gronosky were withdrawn as part of a plea agreement.
