Fresh off winning the Foot Locker National Cross Country Championships in San Diego over the weekend Abington Heights senior runner Tessa Barrett was honored during a pre-game ceremony at Abington Heights on Monday night. Barrett set many new records this year at all of her invitational meets and set a new District II record up at Elk Lake in the girl's AAA race then went onto win the State Title in Hershey in the AAA event this past fall. Barrett has accepted a full scholarship to attend Penn State University next year.
