University of Scranton junior guard Ross Danzig (Abington Heights) became the 40th player in the Royals history to score 1,000 points in a career. Danzig and his team beat Rosemont 80-66 on Monday night to secure a spot in Tuesday's championship game of the PNC Bank "Royal Rumble". Scranton will face Muhlenberg on Tuesday at 4pm at the John Long Center.

Brendan Boken led all scorers with 20 points. Michael Barr and fellow Abington Heights graduate Justin Klingman chipped in with 17 points apiece. Danzig finished the night with 16 points. Scranton was 7 for 13 from the free throw line. They can still improve in that department.
