Crain Returns From Winter Meetings

Scranton/Wilkes-Barre General Manager Rob Crain is back from the Major League Baseball Winter meetings in Orlando, Florida. Crain is entering his 2nd season with the RailRiders AAA baseball franchise. Last season the team drew 436,000 fans the most since 2008 when they won the Governor's Cup trophy and the attendance figure reached 485,000 fans. The inaugural season of the Yankees franchise coming to Moosic was 2007 when the team had 580,000 fans entering the former Lackawanna County Stadium. Baseball Digest selected PNC Field as the Best New Ballpark for the 2013 season. The SWB Railriders are home April 10th, 2014 with Syracuse after opening the season on the road in Syracuse April 3rd.
