Police Track Down Alleged Robber Through Snow

KINGSTON TOWNSHIP — Police in Luzerne County tracked down an alleged robber in the snow Saturday night.

Officer said a man went into It’s a Life Saver Sunoco near Dallas just before 9 p.m. showed a gun and took cash from the register, along with two packs cigarettes.

Police told us they tracked the alleged robber down by following his trail in the snow, which brought them to his house.

Kyle Burdick, 24, of Shavertown was taken into custody. Police said they found the cigarettes in his bedroom, along with a loaded gun.

Burdick is charged with robbery, theft, receiving stolen property, and carrying a firearm without a license.
