OLD FORGE -- The Old Forge Blue Devils are going for their first state championship. Fans packed buses Friday morning to head to Hershey where the game is held.

The Old Forge High School cheerleading squad, twirlers, and band members all made their way to Hershey for the football team's first state championship game. It is a good way for seniors like cheer captain Carla Bellenzini to end their high school careers.

"We're really excited. It's a great experience for our senior year, like, I couldn't have asked for anything better than this. It's amazing."

And it's not just students taking the buses down to Hershey. Even fans are renting buses, riding down in style to get to the big game.

One of the people on a rented bus is Old Forge fan Jean Rinaldi.

"Old Forge is like one big, happy town, and we really back whoever we have to back up. We have their backs. That's just the kind of community we are."

Drive through the streets of Old Forge and you'll see sign after sign after sign cheering on the team. Fans and players alike quite simply refuse to lose.

"It's just been tremendous. These kids are the best kids. I mean, it's just amazing. It's amazing what they've done. The whole town is just crazy about them,” said Nick Holgash.

And as fans take off, they have no doubts what the outcome will be.

"Oh, we're going to win. We're going to shut them out. And here's a Hershey kiss for you."
