Power To Save December Special

Thursday, December 12, 2013

7:30pm-8:00pm

WNEP-TV’s Don Jacobs and Jackie Lewandoski host this quarter’s Power To Save Special.  We’ll build an owl box, collect some rain water, see how area businesses are benefiting from drilling in the Marcellus Shale, and learn how customers can pay their winter energy bills and save energy at the same time.

OWL BOXES – Don Jacobs

A visit to the Carbon County Environmental Education Center shows us how to build and hang a refuge for owls.  Get more information from CCEEC and the PA Game Commission.

NATURAL GAS and BUSINESS – Jackie Lewandoski

Cabot Oil and Gas Corporation shows us how vendors and residents in the Marcellus Shale area of the northern tier are benefiting from the growth of Cabot.  We’ll hear from Linde Corporation, Rain For Rent, and Erick Flowback Services.  We’ll also get a glimpse of the new Cabot Montrose headquarters.
