SCRANTON — A man from New York who pleaded guilty to robbing a bank in Dunmore was sentenced Monday in federal court.
Romeal Price, 36, was sentenced to 11 years and four months for robbing the Pennstar Bank on the O’Neill Highway in Dunmore in June.
Authorities said Price robbed the bank after escaping from Catholic Social Services, where he was completing a federal prison sentence from 2001. He was picked up in New York about a month later.
Price pleaded guilty to the bank robbery in September.
A woman who admitted being the getaway driver pleaded guilty in October.
