FOSTER TOWNSHIP -- One person is dead, and four others were hurt in a crash in Schuylkill County.
The crash happened just before 11 a.m. Sunday on Interstate 81 north near the Mount Carmel/Shamokin exit.
The SUV flipped on its roof after hitting a guide rail.
According to state police, Garfield Beynon,71, of Scranton died.
The driver and three children in the vehicle were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
Troopers said weather was not a factor. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
