The Archbishop Wood Vikings had too much speed and size for Berwick on Saturday evening at J. Birney Crum Stadium in Allentown. In the "AAA" Eastern final Berwick lost to Archbishop Wood 42-14. This was the first loss for Berwick on the season. They finish with a record of (14-1) in George Curry's second season back as head coach. Last year Berwick lost to Abington Heights in the District II championship game. That was their last loss before Saturday night.

After a score for the Vikings making it 7-0 CJ Curry and the Dawgs offense mounted an attack to tie the game at 7-7 on a Curry to Trent Force 32 yard touchdown pass in the corner of the end zone.

On the ensuing kickoff Luke Spahits raced up the middle on a 79 yard kickoff return to give Archbishop Wood the lead at 14-7. The Vikings would add two more scores before the half- one a highlight reel run from Jarrett McClenton scampering 57 yards to the end zone.

The final score from Allentown had Archbishop Wood winning 42-14.
