WILKES-BARRE — Police in Wilkes-Barre think they know who was handling a gun that went off at Sherman Hills, just missing a sleeping girl.
Officers say Terrance Jones, who is known to stay at the housing complex, fired the gun early Wednesday morning.
The bullet went through the floor and into an apartment below.
No one was hurt.
Police searched the apartment where the gun went off and say they found what they believe is marijuana hidden in a child’s bedroom.
Officers say drug charges are pending against Diana Page who lives there.
Jones could also face charges connected to the gunfire in Wilkes-Barre.
