Police Investigate Dollar General Burglary

HAZLETON — Authorities in Hazleton are investigating a break-in at a Dollar General that happened on Tuesday night.

Officers said a man broke the glass door to the Dollar General on West Walnut Street around 11:30 p.m.

Police said the burglar stole cartons of cigarettes from the store then took off.  Investigators believe the man is about six feet tall and was wearing blue jeans and a black hoodie during the theft.

Anyone with information is asked to call Hazleton Police.
