WILKES-BARRE — Administrators at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital insist that service will not be interrupted Tuesday despite a one-day strike by nurses.
The nurses have been working without a contract since April.
Hospital officials in Wilkes-Barre say temporary replacement nurses are being brought in and patient care will not be affected.
The strike begins at 7 a.m. Tuesday and continues for 24 hours.
