SCRANTON — A tradition that brings people together for Thanksgiving took place in Scranton Tuesday night.
Hundreds sat down to dinner at the Scranton Cultural Center for the 37th annual Friends of the Poor dinner.
Volunteers served free turkey dinners with all of the fixings.
Each year, the charity invites people who might not otherwise enjoy a holiday meal.
Everything from the food, to the decorations, to the help is donated or done by volunteers in Scranton.
