“Pantry Raid” Food Drive Makes Its Rounds

CLARKS SUMMIT — Their goal was to draw attention to an annual Thanksgiving food drive and that they did.

Radio personalities from Rock 107 road around in a 10-foot high motorized shopping cart making stops at Gerrity’s supermarkets throughout Lackawanna County.

We caught up with them in Clarks Summit where they were collecting donations of food and money for their annual “Pantry Raid” food drive.

The huge cart will be in Luzerne County tomorrow.  All donations will go to the Weinberg Food Pantry in Scranton.
