SCRANTON — Scranton police believe an attempted robbery Monday morning outside a personal care home is connected to another in the same area last week.

Officers said two employees of the Mountain View Care Center were in car outside the facility on Stafford Avenue when a man reached in the window, grabbed a woman’s neck, pulled out a knife and demanded money. The woman screamed and the man got away.

Police said the suspect dropped this jacket in a wooded area not long after the holdup.

They believe he’s also behind a similar incident about a week ago near the personal care home in Scranton.
