JACKSON TOWNSHIP — A deadly fire in Susquehanna County is now ruled a case of arson according to state police in Gibson.

Investigators said the blaze broke out around 11:30pm Saturday on Gaylord Street in Jackson Township.

State police said once they could get inside the burning home, they found the body of Kathleen Ashby-Kaminsky, 50, who lived there.

Kathleen’s daughter, Kati Granville says that her mother loved her grandchildren more than anything and spent every day helping others.

Anyone with information about the deadly fire is asked to call state police in Gibson at 570-465-3154.
