EAST STROUDSBURG — A man in Monroe County was arrested after police said he confessed to sending inappropriate pictures to a teenage girl over the internet.
According to authorities, Chris Megargel, 34, used a dating website to contact a 14-year-old girl in August.
Police said the girl told Megargel she was 14 during the conversations. Investigators said the messages became sexually explicit with Megargel sending pictures exposing himself. Police said he asked on several occasions to meet with the teen.
After an investigation, officers said Megargel was questioned and later confessed his actions.
