Last Sunday at the Electric City Baseball Academy in Scranton, we found over sixty high school baseball players showing off their skills to college baseball coaches, and recruiters. It was the First Annual Electric City Baseball Prospect Showcase, and it hosted twenty-seven college coaches from across the East and Midwest, hoping to scout out some top talent from here in Northeast Pennsylvania. The event which was organized by Paul McGloin Jr., was a great opportunity for ball players and recruiters to come to one place to see some of the best that this region has to offer.
