SCRANTON -- Our area paid tribute to veterans on Monday, recognizing military men and women for their service to our country.
The American Legion Post #121 held its annual tribute to veterans Monday morning on Courthouse Square in Scranton.
The current mayor and mayor-elect were among the local leaders who spoke and laid wreaths at the veterans plaza.
Local veterans groups presented wreaths to honor veterans and the NEPA Detachment, U.S. Marine Corps League played taps.
