CLINTON TOWNSHIP -- The story of a local World War II veteran came to life Monday morning at Lackawanna Trail High School in Wyoming County.
Scranton Public Theater performed "Last Thoughts of Gino Merli."
Merli was a Medal of Honor recipient.
Theater members said Merli was a decorated hero who embodied the Greatest Generation.
Local veterans were invited to the school to watch the play in Wyoming County.
