A good cause at the Backyard Ale House

Visit the Backyard Ale House in Scranton where the Chef Jim Evans prepares his signature homemade hummus.

Also, get a peek at some of the hand pained items on the auction block for Marley’s Mission. The 2nd annual Hope Chest Auction at Backyard Ale House is November 9th from 6-9pm!

Backyard Ale House Hummus

1 Quart Chick Peas, Drained and Washed

½ Cup Olive Oil

¾ Cup Lemon Juice

9 Cloves Peeled Garlic

½ Cup Tahini Paste

1 Teaspoon Cumin

2 Tablespoon Parsley

Salt & Pepper, to taste

 Puree all ingredients in a food processor until smooth scraping down the bowl occasionally.
