SCHUYLKILL COUNTY-- Some folks in the upper levels of Schuylkill County awoke Friday morning for find a little snow!

Dale Hoffman owns a garage in Frackville. He was clearing snow from cars in front of his business Friday morning. He was not surprised to find snow on the ground.

"Up here in Frackville it always snows, it's just one of those things," said Hoffman.

One family traveled from Lycoming County to Frackville Friday. There was no snow in the Muncy area, where they came from and they were surprised to find the white stuff elsewhere.

"We were pretty impressed by all this snow on the cars. The 2 granddaughters couldn't get over it and wanted to know if there was going to be snow when we got home," said Judy Ohmneiss of Muncy.

"When I seen the snow, I was freaking out because I do like snow," said Katelyn Wingo of Mifflintown.

"Lasst year I didn't get to play in the snow a lot because it would melt the next day and we wouldn't be able to play in it a lot," said Coral Wingo of Mifflintown.

The snow in Schuylkill County seemed to be hitting the higher elevations.

"My son is extremely excited he's 4 years old, so it's going to be a good day 'cause I like the snow," said Ashley Longo of Shenandoah Heights.
