WAYNE TOWNSHIP — A safe containing more than $6,000 was stolen from a fire house in Clinton County.
Police say it happened sometime late Tuesday or early Wednesday at the Wayne Township Volunteer Fire Company near McElhattan.
The safe contained money raised from an election day food sale and Tuesday night bingo.
Anyone with information about the theft is asked to call police in Clinton County.
