HONESDALE — A man was sentenced Thursday after he stole from his employer in Wayne County.
Brian Fazio of Lackawaxen was sentenced to 38 to 120 months in prison and also must pay over $65,000 in restitution.
Fazio pleaded guilty to the crime in September.
Authorities say he wrote more than $71,000 worth of checks for himself, while he worked for Leeward Construction near Honesdale as the company’s assistant controller.
Fazio also pleaded guilty to mail fraud in 2009.
