BUTLER TOWNSHIP — A medical helicopter landed at the Hazleton Area Academy of Sciences on Wednesday but there was no emergency.

The chopper from the Lehigh Valley Medical Center and its crew were there to give students an up-close and personal experience with the chopper and its crew.

“A big component of our presentation is some possible career paths for them and a look at what some paths the nursing profession provides for them,” said helicopter nurse Dan Leshko.
