Man Arrested for Threatening to Blow-Up Building

WILKES-BARRE—According to officials, a man was arrested Tuesday, for allegedly threatening to blow-up a building in Wilkes-Barre.

Police in Luzerne County said James Gilmore from Hanover Township called the Public Defender’s Office in Wilkes-Barre Sunday afternoon, and left a message threatening to blow up the building.

Police searched the building and didn’t find anything.

Gilmore is locked up on $200,000 bail in Luzerne County.

    I had a scuffle with this punk in the outer lobby of the pittston post office one day. He was trying to steal my maiI. I threw him out the door and down the steps. He’s a trouble maker from the word go.
