New Hospital Hosts Open House

MONTROSE -- People got a chance to check out the inside of a new hospital in Susquehanna County on Sunday.

About 1,200 people toured the inside of the new Endless Mountains Health Care Hospital in Montrose.  The 88,000 ft. facility includes a new emergency room with a decontamination room, imaging labs, operating rooms.  The hospital also has 25 single bedrooms.

Those who came to the open house seemed excited about the new hospital.

"It's just gonna be so great.  I don't ever want to come here!  I was in the old hospital as a patient.  But its great, I think its gonna be marvelous," said Nancy Bruce.

The hospital will still operate out of the old building on Route 706 for a few more weeks.
