State police say they found the two people responsible for some unusual thefts in Wyoming and Luzerne Counties last month.

Authorities say Donald Pirches, 34, of the Philadelphia area and Barbara Hibbits, 33, of Lancaster County came to our area and went into two Walmarts, one near Hazleton, the other near Tunkhannock.

In both cases they made off with crossbows, worth a total of about $2,300.

The pair turned themselves in on Tuesday and were charged with theft.

They are both out on bail.
