JACKSON TOWNSHIP -- Fire crews responded to a house fire in Susquehanna County Thursday morning.

The fire started just after 8 a.m. at the home on Powers Road near Harford.

The fire chief says flames were shooting out the front of the home when he arrived.

One man was home at the time, and was able to get out of the home.

A fire marshal will look for the cause of the fire.
