SUNBURY — Work is wrapping up on a model of Fort Augusta in Northumberland County.
The model is located on the front lawn of the Hunter House in Sunbury.
The historical society says it is about one-sixth the size of the original fort built in 1756 to defend settlers during the French and Indian War.
A ceremony is planned next month to mark the completion of the project.
