WILKES-BARRE — A former police chief was sentenced Monday in Luzerne County on theft charges.
Stanley Sipko, a former police chief in West Wyoming, must pay restitution to the borough and was ordered to spend one year in a county rehabilitation program.
He was charged in 2012 with receiving double paychecks between 2005 and 2009.
