Flames Rip Through Home

STARRUCCA -- Fire crews are looking for the cause of a fire that demolished a house in Wayne County early Thursday morning.

A smoky pile of rubble was all that was left of the home on Starrucca Creek Road just miles from the New York state line.  The house caught fire around 3 a.m.

Authorities have not said if anyone was home at the time.

Newswatch 16 talked to neighbors who saw the fire and helped the family.
