WILKES-BARRE — Police in Wilkes-Barre want to look at the medical records of a baby who was badly beaten and died.
Authorities say 2-month-old Antonio Evans died last week at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.
According to the search warrant filed Wednesday morning, the baby’s family did not offer any explanation on how the infant was injured.
Police also said that a gun was not found inside a home on North Washington Street.
A woman told investigators that William Johnson who lives there might have a gun. He’s not supposed to have one because of a criminal record.
So far, no one has been charged with the baby’s homicide in Wilkes-Barre.
