Laura Long and Chelsea Lucceshi were hired as outreach enrollment coordinators.
The two of them were brought on the job to help people with the Health Insurance Marketplace Process.
"To get as many people covered as we can to help people who never had insurance or never had the opportunity to have insurance before," Lucchesi said.
According to a Census Bureau report more than 48 million Americans don't have health insurance.
Lucchesi and Long hope their jobs can help get more people insured.
Long said that they are also there to speak with people who are looking for more affordable coverage.
"They could go online and look to see if they can be. Get something that might mold to what they would want a little bit better as well as a cost savings as well," Long said.
As a way to better help the community the Wayne County Public Libraries have partnered with the Wayne Memorial Community Health Centers.
Library officials said the partnership can help expand the efforts to get more people insured.
"People can just come to the library, get some questions answered and begin to understand what the process is all about," Molly Rodgers of the Wayne Library Alliance said.
The outreach coordinators will hold informational sessions at each of the libraries starting next month.

- Nov. 20 Wayne County (Honesdale) 5:45 p.m. - 6:45 p.m.
- Nov. 21 Hamlin 6:30 p.m. - 7:3o p.m.
