4th Annual Turkey Trot
The Commonwealth Medical College sponsors the 4th Annual Turkey Trot. It’s a family friendly 5K Walk/Run to benefit the Friends of the Poor. Children are included with a short run called the “Tiny Trot”. It’s held Saturday, Nov. 2 at the Medical Sciences Bldg. on Pine Street in Scranton. Registration starts at 7:30 a.m., the Tiny Trot at 8:30 a.m., and Turkey Trot at 9 a.m.
38th Annual Christmas Bazaar
Christmas Bazaar is held in Dimock, Susquehanna County. There’s 130 vendors along with a display of beautiful hand-crafted quilts and lunch prepared by a ” Touch of Class”. Christmas Bazaar is at Elk Lake High School on Saturday, Nov. 2, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. Springville Area Women’s Club sponsors the event to benefit local charities.
