OLD FORGE -- Timothy Muchler, 43, Kyle Kozloski, 25, and Domenica Benzeleski, 20, were arrested in an apartment in Wilkes-Barre Friday and charged in connection with a two county crime spree.

Old Forge Police said the three broke into at least 30 vehicles in the past few days in the Old Forge area, stealing credit cards, navigation systems, money and more.

"People are addicted, the drugs is like a monster and they are going to do anything in their power to support their habit," said Officer-In-Charge Jason Dubernas of the Old Forge Police Department.

Old Forge Police said they got a call a credit card was stolen after a vehicle break-in and had been used in the Wilkes-Barre area. In at least one case, store cameras caught the crooks.

Those surveillance pictures ran on the news and the calls started coming in.

"We got influxed with tons and tons of calls from friends, family members, saying, 'Listen, you have to do something with these guys, here's who they are, they are heavy heavy into drugs, trading all kinds of electronics for drugs,'" said Dubernas.

Officers quickly realized the trio was wanted for crimes in other communities too, for break-ins and thefts in Wilkes-Barre, Wilkes-Barre Township, Plains Township, Old Forge, Taylor, Moosic, Avoca, and Duryea.

"It just goes on and on, and we're still receiving phone calls," said Dubernas.

Old Forge Police said the investigation continues and they expect to arrest more people for the crime spree.
