DICKSON CITY — Some people were honored in Lackawanna County for being heroes.
The first Everyday Heroes awards breakfast was held Wednesday morning at Genetti Manor in Dickson City.
The event hosted by the American Red Cross of Lackawanna County recognized eight recipients for their life-saving acts and community service.
Those honored were:
- Officer Brian Munley, Archbald Police
- Dunmore Assistant Fire Chief Robert Dee
- Paramedics Robert Rutkowski and Gus Catalano, both of Lackawanna Ambulance Company
- Geisinger Life Flight
- James Beavers of Scott Township
- Mary Marrara of Jermyn
- Steve Kepic of Dallas
