Police Rule Shooting in Wilkes-Barre a Homicide

WILKES-BARRE — A shooting in Wilkes-Barre is now ruled a homicide.

Wilkes-Barre police said the shooting happened just after 2:00 a.m. Sunday, behind Outsiders Bar located at 650 South Main Street, near the intersection with Hanover Street.

Police said a man was shot in the head. His name has not been released.

Police were looking for a silver car after Sunday morning’s shooting, but did not say if they had a suspect.
